My Journey

Get to know me better

Here you can find more about my background, and why I do what I do.

How I Landed Here

Hi, my name is Lu, and years ago I was a lawyer.

On the outside, I seemed to be doing everything right: a master’s degree, a law firm job, a loving boyfriend, great friends.

But inside, it was a different story. I felt completely disconnected from my body and inner world, and this disconnection showed up as anxiety, panic attacks, and a deep sense of confusion.

Eventually, my body’s signals became impossible to ignore. I left my legal career and began a journey of self-discovery. It started with yoga teacher trainings and gradually led me into somatic studies.
Among all the trainings, the ones that truly shaped me—and ultimately inspired the creation of Resta Lieve—were James Reeves’ Deep Rest and Facilitator Training. There, I learned many of the skills I now bring into my creative inner explorations, and found true peace for which I'll be forever grateful.

Ultimately, I’ve come to realise that nothing brings me more joy than sitting in presence with others, and witnessing the unfolding of their inner world in a space of safety and tenderness.

And that's how Resta Lieve came to life...

Resta Lieve was born out of a sincere desire to create a space where we don’t have to push, perform, or pretend. Instead, we’re invited to explore your inner world gently and playfully.

Through 1:1 psychosomatic explorations (co-meditation, embodied practices, and deep listening), I’ll walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, beyond the mental noise.

Over the years, yoga, meditation, philosophical readings, and countless conversations with friends, mentors, and even strangers have shaped the way I now sit with clients. I hold these experiences close, and they continue to inform how I move through the world.

My deepest wish is that you too may experience the belonging, peace, and equanimity I came to know through this beautiful practice.

You don’t need fixing, just space to unfold.
